Horween Leather created a lightweight pull-up leather that will age beautifully with use. Combination tanned horsefront hides with a waxed and heat plated grain. The waxing provides protection and the deep color/pull-up effect.
The waistcoat is a classic example of a vintage look. I use a 12oz canonball duck canvas from Mount Vernon Mills for the liner in the waistcoat. It has a classic notch collar and we use on this model brass buttons on the front to accent the look.
