The Mount Vernon® Duck Canvas we use is an America Classic. To us that means it is an America staple from the start and ages gracefully. This 12oz has a plain weave and is a very solid fabric. This fabric is the starting point for all American workwear. It is Sanforized, and there will be some stretch and shrinkage, but not as much as a denim weave The base color is Ochre. It’s truly an America Classic.
The waistcoat is a classic example of a vintage look. We use a Vintage Southwestern Cowboy sun bleached wool jacquard blanket for the liner in the waistcoat. It has a classic shawl collar and we use on this model CFDCo Corozo buttons on the front to accent the look. The brass buckle on the back is a replicate Civil War buckle we use to top off the whole look.
