#333 23oz Heavy TYPE IH [ ICHIRO HACHIYA ] Japanese Indigo Red/White Selvage

The 23oz heavyweight selvage denim is an absolute powerhouse, comparable to our 30oz Scottish Bull Denim. This dense fabric features a classic denim appearance created by an indigo warp and white weft. Over time, the indigo will fade gracefully, revealing more white highlights. Expect a break-in period as it’s quite substantial to wear initially. Production requires extra time, as we exclusively use our signature taped seams to prevent seam failures common in other heavyweight jeans caused by chafing at the chain stitch. The high slub yarn adds unique texture that emerges beautifully after washing.
