1873 Modify Dungarees

1800's Series

This is a Modify jean design , the "1873" from CFDCo 1800's series.
We made these with details borrowed from some of the best work-wear construction methods.

This is a great style if you want a vintage look from one of the dry goods Companies of the 1800's

The images are examples of the 1873 13.5oz TEXAS Organic Denim we made. We did a custom brass 'D' ring for your duck call or keys and we use a special two tone green buttonholes for all colors to give it that vintage look.

We use modified late 1800's, earlier 1900's construction. I only use "ONE" single needle machine SINGER 241-13 to make this style, so it takes a while...The only chain stitch is on the hem.

and made with our limited LOT No#3 Natural Texas Denim..YES. the denim is made right here in TEXAS as our 14oz Texas denim

The weft is made from NATURAL organic cotton Texas fibers, and the fibers are very slubby, so the face of the fabric will have a slubby surface once you start washing them and fade them out.

This fabric is 100% Organic Cotton Selvage Denim, which is made in our Great State of TEXAS!.

This fabric LOT has a soft hand and has a more slubby weave. This denim still has a stiff hand like denim made in the late 50's and early 60's for TRUE workwear denim worn by Farmers and field hand workers.. There are a lot of imperfection because of the long and slubby yarn used to make this fabric. [ As explained to us by the "old Man" who makes this stuff ].

This fabric is made on a vintage loom... so the actual fabric width is smaller than modern selvage fabric. So we use a lot more fabric per yard, to make a pair of jeans.

Choose either our 905 Regular fit, 901 Slim fit or 997 Miner fit. More details available on our fit guide.

When selecting your size, please check actual measurements you need (measure an existing pair like this, do not simply go by tag size) and
compare with detailed measurements for this model by clicking the "FIT GUIDE" link
