LOT No#12 is here. and in a WORKSHIRT,,,,,I know finally! right!,,,haaaa
ALL HANDMADE , this denim workshirt is not made like others, we taped the seams for a long lasting seam durability so you can actual work in this denim shirt and not worry about seam failure, We used alot of selvage edges, from inside the chest pocket to the back seam...we just are proud of the fabric and like to show it off...haaaa and we use our CFDCo Corozo buttons.
This fabric is 100% Cotton Selvage Denim, which is made in our Great State of TEXAS!. Yes one of the last American made selvage denim but in limited lot runs of 20-40 yards.
This denim is a replica of denim made in the late 50's and early 60's for TRUE workwear denim worn by Farmers and field hand workers.. It is a heavy bleed fabric and there are a lot of imperfection because of the long and slubby yarn used to make this fabric. [ As explained to us by the "old Man Mr. Williams" who makes this stuff ] As for the heavy bleed...denim back in the day was shrink to fit and bleeds like crazy..This is sanforized but it bleeds like an old vintage pair of jeans when you first bought them back in the day.
This fabric is made on a vintage loom... so the actual fabric width is smaller than modern selvage fabric. So we use a lot more fabric per yard, to make a pair of jeans.
Also just note that each Lot we get is a little different from the last Lot..This is what makes this denim special , because we always get a little surprise with each Lot.
Pictured is me in a label size XL, 220lbs 6 feet...yes i know,,it all the Bourbon!
