17oz DuPont® Kevlar® Indigo Red Selvage
The 17oz...The new baby Indigo monster! HAAAAAA!!!
Just like the 23oz JPN Indigo Denim, this fabric is a monster. This is our third toughest selvage denim used to date. This fabric is dense and the weave of the signature DuPont® kelvar® yellow weft and indigo warp also gives it the classic denim look.
This one has a red and white selvage edge like a classic selvage denim and it is made in the USA.
We will be making these jeans with our signature taped seams. We found that the bulk of the flat fell seams tend to bust open due to chafing on the back side of the chain stitch on the back side or the flat fell seam.
We will only make these with DuPont® kelvar® yellow thread , which has a break strength 5 times greater than steel wire , so do not ask me to make these in cotton thread.
