There's a growing consensus that Heavy American fabrics may represent the best value in the Denim Market. Agree or not, this fabric is spot on in the American workwear category for longevity..

The Duck Canvas we use has to be an America Classic. To us that means it is an America staple from the start and ages gracefully. This Duck is called "Cannonball" duck from Mount Vernon Mills , one of the last American Mills still operational in the USA. This 12oz has a plain weave and is a very solid fabric. This fabric is the starting point for all American workwear. It is sanforized, and there will be some stretch and shrinkage, but not as much as a denim weave. The base color is Dark Brown and It’s truly an America Classic.

Each one of these are "HANDMADE" ONE AT A TIME and not mass produced in a clothing factory, These pants are a modification [ waistband modification] of the M-1951 Field Trousers, originally used in the  Korean War and Vietnam War. ie... vintage surplus. These Field pants where originally made in olive drab, sateen cotton. We upgraded these in the true American workwear duck canvas for durability. These have suspender loops and buttons. Buttons on the inside of the waist are for the optional field-trouser liner as the original and we build these using a 11oz Army duck for the inside liner and detail trim. We made these without the draw cord bottom that was on the original M-1951 Trousers. 

And now you can have these historical Trousers in the fit of your choice. Choose either our 905 Regular fit, 901 Slim fit or 997 Miner fit. More details available on our fit guide.
